The Yule Goat, Julbock, is a symbol of the winter holidays in the Scandinavian countries. The Julbok is a a pagan Yule symbol often represented by a straw figurine of a goat. They are traditionally made from the last grain of the harvest, bundled in red ribbons and kept as a token of hope for the New Year.
