Herne is unique among Pagan gods in that his story stems from a local folklore, and there is little historical information accessible to us through primary sources. Although he might be regarded as a component of Cernunnos, the Horned God, the Berkshire area of England is where the tale originates.
If you'd like to incorporate Herne into your worship, consider him as a god of the hunt and the forest; given his origins, he may well be best suited to assist you when correcting an injustice. Offerings such as a glass of cider, whiskey, or home brewed mead or a meal made from the meat you hunted yourself would be appropriate. To aid in the delivery of your messages, burn incense that includes dried fall leaves.
