About Carnelian:

Carnelian, also called “cornelian,” gets its name from the cornel cherry, called this for its likeness to the translucent red fruit. Carnelian is a variety of the silica mineral chalcedony colored by impurities of iron oxide.

Its color varies greatly, ranging from pale orange to an intense almost-black coloration, with a reddish-orange color being the most common.

This protective stone evokes courage, harmony, and healing.
